Hyderabad: A 56-year-old man died while his newlywed daughter and son-in-law, along with two other members of his family sustained grievous injuries as the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary lorry at Nagole crossroads on Monday. The injured were shifted to Kamineni Hospital where the bride’s condition is stated to be critical.
According to police, the deceased P V Madan Chary, along with his wife Sharada, daughters Hemamalini and Soumya and son-in-law Sainadh Chary, was returning home when the car rammed into the lorry resulting in serious injuries to all of them.
Madan died on the way to hospital. While Soumya fell unconscious, Sainath fractured his legs. The critically injured Sharada and Hemamalini’s condition was stated to be stable. Based on a complaint lodged by victims relative, a case has been registered against the driver of the lorry, who is absconding.
