Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy directed the officials to speed up projects like the AP Gas Distribution Corporation-Floating Storage and Re-gasification Unit (APGDC-FRSU) and APGDC-Trunk Pipelines.

A memorandum of understanding has already been signed between APGDC and the State government on these projects.

Chief Minister, who reviewed some of the important infrastructure projects with Ministers and officials on Wednesday, said that public notification for bidding for Kakinada-Visakhapatnam-Srikakulam pipeline and Ennore-Nellore has been issued.

He asked the officials to resolve all pending issues at a meeting to be chaired by the Chief Secretary within a week.

He also discussed the Petronet LNG Project which intends to develop LNG Terminal at Gangavaram Port with an estimated Capital Expenditure of Rs 4500-crore and the capacity of the terminal is estimated at 5 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) with a provision to expand up to 10 MMTPA.

He said that officials should resolve the pending issues connected with this project. It also planned to speed up the development of Machilipatnam Port in Krishna District under PPP mode on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. Minister for Infrastructure and Investment Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Special Chief Secretary for Finance and Planning S P Tucker, Principal Secretary for Revenue, B R Meena and others attended the meeting.
