Hyderabad: A strange reference to allocation of four tmcft of Krishna Waters to a non-existent RMC project by the Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-2 has left the top brass of the irrigation Department nonplussed. Even the Minister for Major Irrigation P Sudarshan Reddy had nothing to say on the issue which generated a volley of queries from the inquisitive scribes at a hurriedly convened press conference on Saturday evening.

Some officials tried to interpret it as the Rajolibanda diversion Scheme (RDS). But the project had no right canal at all. The Minister too faced some embarrassing moments with his irrigation department officials and tried to parry the queries from the media personnel.
Sudarshan Reddy, quite often, had to turn to the officials seeking clarification on it. Rahoof, chief engineer, who is looking after inter-state water disputes, said that it was right canal of Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS). But, when the scribes pointed out that that there was no right canal to RDS. Minister and his officials maintained silence for a while with the volley of questions posed by scribes on RMC.
