Prohibitory Orders Issued for Dec 6, Black Day, 21st Anniversary of Demolition of Babri Masjid. City police commissioner Anurag Sharma on Tuesday imposed prohibitory orders in the city limits in view of ‘Black Day,’ 21st anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, on December 6.
Hyderabad: City police commissioner Anurag Sharma on Tuesday imposed prohibitory orders in the city limits in view of ‘Black Day,’ 21st anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, on December 6.
The commissioner said that he had reliable information that certain groups were trying to create disturbances by inciting communal animosity between different communities in connection with the anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid on December 6.
Therefore, the commissioner has prohibited every kind of procession, dharna, rally, public meetings, gesture or displaying pictures etc., which is likely to create religious animosity or hatred between different communities or individuals. The prohibitory orders would be in force from December 6 to 8.
