6 of Family Killed in Road Mishap, Road Accident at Mulugu in Medak District. The deceased persons, who belong to different villages of Chinnakodur mandal in the district, are relatives. As Kanakamma was seriously ill, her relatives were rushing her to a hospital in Hyderabad when the ill-fated car met the accident.
Medak: In a ghastly road accident, six persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a DCM stationary van from behind on Rajiv Rahadari at Mulugu in Medak district on Wednesday.
According to immediate reports, five victims Srinivas (30), Padma (35), Lakshmi (40) Mallamma (60) and Ramu (40) died on the spot while Kanakamma succumbed to her injures while undergoing treatment in a hospital at Gajwel.
The deceased persons, who belong to different villages of Chinnakodur mandal in the district, are relatives. As Kanakamma was seriously ill, her relatives were rushing her to a hospital in Hyderabad when the ill-fated car met the accident.
Eyewitnesses said that the driver of the car Srinivas, who was driving very fast, lost control of the vehicle and hit the van. Local police shifted the bodies to a government hospital for autopsy. They registered a case and took up investigation.
