Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Friday launched a website, ‘Sarkarbhoomi’ which enables people to get access to the revenue records and details of government lands in the State.

Inaugurating this facility at the new building - Bhu Paripalana Bhavan - on the premises of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) office here, the CM said this initiative would help in maintaining the transparency in terms of land allotment, acquisition and other revenue policies. CCLA Commissioner IVR Krishna Rao and other officials were present. Later at another programme at Ravindra Bharati, the Chief Minister distributed land pattas to farmers and landless poor from Nalgonda, Medak, Mahabubnagar and Ranga Reddy districts.

Addressing them, he said that over 1.24 lakh acres were being distributed to the farmers as part of government’s move to support them in all possible way.

He said the government was also supplying free electricity worth Rs 35,000 crore, and water through drip irrigation project called ‘Jalaprabha.’ Ministers Raghuveera Reddy, Mukesh Goud, G Prasad Kumar were also present.
