The association demanded that the government release 45 per cent interim relief to employees and teachers and solve the problems related to health cards

Hyderabad: Welcoming the Union Cabinet’s decision to carve out Telangana, the Secretariat Telangana Employees Association demanded on Friday that the Centre ensure no conditions were put in regard to the governance in the city of Hyderabad.

In a resolution adopted by the association, it urged the government not to provide options to the Seemandhra employees. Options would be detrimental to the interests of the Telangana employees, they said. It also demanded that the government consult it on allocation of jobs inside Secretariat, after the formation of Telangana.The association also demanded that the government release 45 per cent interim relief to employees and teachers and solve the problems related to health cards.
