Hyderabad: TNGO president G Devi Prasad on Friday flayed the Union Cabinet’s recommendations to distribute government employees in Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh States on population basis. This would not set right anomalies that had occurred in implementation of Presidential Order as well as 610 GO in Telangana region, he felt.
Speaking to reporters after paying tributes to Telangana martyrs at Gun Park in the wake of Centre’s decision to create Telangana State with 10 districts, Devi Prasad said that they would deliberate at length about the Cabinet’s recommendations and its impact on Telangana government employees at the executive committee meeting of their union on Saturday.
The TNGO president was also critical of the Centre’s decision to vest the authority of law and order in Hyderabad in Governor, besides fixing the GHMC limits as the common capital area instead of Hyderabad revenue limits as proposed by various Telangana groups.
