Hyderabad: Following major victories in four northern state Assembly elections, BJP senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu said on Sunday that the stage is set for Congress party's ouster at the Centre. "There is a pro-BJP mood across the country. BJP is the only challenger to the Congress,” he said.

Speaking to reporters here, Naidu said that the Delhi elections have also taught a lesson to the BJP. Aam Admi Party (AAP) being a new party was able to take some anti-Congress votes. He said that at the national level it was very clear that Congress would be routed out. Narendra Modi factor had played a crucial role in the defeat of Congress party and there is no alternative to the BJP, he said.

BJP state leaders G Kishan Reddy, Bandaru Dattatreya congratulated party colleagues in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Delhi on this occasion. Meanwhile, a festive atmosphere was seen at state headquarters in Nampally and city office in Barkatpura throughout the day. Hundreds of activists, leaders made a beeline to party offices to join in celebrations.
