Hyderabad: SSC annual exams will be held from March 26 to April 12 next year. The Directorate of Government Examinations released time-table for the examinations on Monday. According to the release the exams would be held from 9.30 am to 12pm every day.

The SSC Board will jumble the exam centres in the same town or city, and the invigilators will be from neighbouring towns. All the DEOs were directed to send the details of exam centres by the first week of January, and detail the steps they plan to take for smooth conduct of exams.
Results by May 1st week
SSC Public Examinations would be held from March 26 to April 12 next year. Capping weeks of suspense, the Directorate of Government Examinations has released the time table which is common for both SSC and OSSC exams. The schedule should have been announced in November itself but the Secondary Education Department has put it on hold due to uncertainty following the bifurcation issue.
The exams would begin with first language Telugu-I. The objective paper in the subjects in which they are given have to answered in the last half an hour only except first language Telugu I and II or Oriya, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil and Marathi I and II.
Third language English I and II and OSSC Sanskrit I and II for which part A and part B will be given at the beginning of examination and collected together at the close of the exam.
The Director made it clear that there will not be any change in the time table even if the government declares any day as public holiday or general holiday.
The spot valuation would start immediately after the examinations are over and it is most likely that the valuation would be done by the teachers of the respective regions to avoid any trouble or misunderstanding later. “We had the experience of tasting the displeasure of some regional JAC leaders last year. So, it is better to avoid it now. Let there be no misconception among anyone on the issue of impartial valuation,” a senior official told media men on Monday. But he hastened to add that no final decision was taken in this regard and it would be decided in February only.
The performance of the candidates who answer wrong combination question papers will be cancelled. Similarly, no candidate would be allowed if he or she turns up at the centre other than allotted to him, the officials stated.
This would be the last year in which the candidates will be writing the annual exams with old syllabus. From 2014-15 academic year, the candidates will have a new syllabi and the SCERT has been giving final touches to it. The new syllabus is said to be totally on par with the CBSE class X syllabus and designed with an eye to catch up the advanced course structure of Intermediate.
A total of 88.08 percentage of students in regular category have passed the March exams last academic year, registering a 0.24 percent increase compared to the previous year.
