Seemandhra Central Ministers ditched us: SSEF

Hyderabad: Secretariat Seemandhra Employees Forum (SSEF) president U Murali Krishna on Wednesday said that Central Ministers from Seemandhra deceived them by not keeping up their promises on the issue of bifurcation of the State.

Addressing media persons in Secretariat, Murali Krishna said that the Central Ministers from Seemandhra assured them that they would stall the Telangana formation by all means when they approached them in New Delhi in October.

But they had ditched the Seemandhra people by maintaining silence on the no-confidence motion moved by six Congress MPs in Lok Sabha. He said that the people of the State were observing their double standards and will teach them a lesson or two.

Terming the Congress MPs step as daring move, he said that the remaining ruling party MPs and Ministers should fall in line with them to keep the State united. He said that the employees had chalked out their future course of agitation to stall the process of bifurcation. Meanwhile, Seemandhra employees staged lunch-hour dharna at Samatha block as part of their agitation program.

They raised slogans against UPA government and AICC president Sonia Gandhi. SSEF leaders K V Krishnaiah, V Jyothi and V Rama led the stir.
