APSRTC Unions Issue Strike Notice. The major unions like Employees Union (EU), Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) have given notices to the management with a demand of abolishing the system of contracting employees and demanded for their regularization.

Hyderabad: The unions of APSRTC have handed over a notice for strike to the management, on Friday.
The major unions like Employees Union (EU), Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) have given notices to the management with a demand of abolishing the system of contracting employees and demanded for their regularization.
The unions said that there demand has not been considered for quite long and demanded for a positive gesture from the management for the same. As they are left with no other option, said the union leaders, they gave the notice to the management. Further, they said they will strike until their demands are meted out.
Additionally, the employees' unions demanded for the implementation of the new PRC. It is worth mentioning here that in the recent past, the APSRTC employees of Seemandhra region went on strike for a long period with their demand of keeping the state united.
