Cong MLA joins YSRCP; TDP MLA joins TRS

Hyderabad : The ruling Congress and opposition TDP suffered a blow on Sunday with the two party MLAs from Telangana and Coastal Andhra switching loyalties to TRS and YSR Congress party

Congress MLA from Salur Assembly constituency P Rajanna Dora joined the YSRCP in the presence of Jagan at the latter’s residence in the city. While the TDP MLA from Jukkal constituency, Hanmanth Shinde, took membership of the TRS in the presence of the party supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao at Telangana Bhavan.

Dora, who hailed from Vizianagaram district, was a close associate of state PCC president B Satayanarayana. With the Seemandhra simmering with people’s agitations against the Congress decision to divide the state, the Congress MLA has been maintaining distance from the party. Shinde, belonging to Nizamabad district, also preferred to stay away from the TDP because of differences with the party chief and finally decided to jump into KCR’s bandwagon.
