JC Prabhakar makes sturdy comments

Anantapuram: On Tuesday, the brother of former minister JC Diwakar Reddy, JC Prabhakar Reddy allegedly made comments. He said there has been a demand for their arrest, after the Palem incident. He questioned whether railway minister should be arrested holding responsible for Nanded-Bangalore train accident. He challenged to prove their buses as against the law and offered cancelling the permits, if proven. He alleged that after accepting bribes, few officials have been granting permits to the oldest buses, which otherwise are unfit for travel. He alleged that media organizations have been blackmailing them after the Palem incident.

It is evident that as many as 45 passengers lost their lives in Palem Volvo bus accident on October, 30 last year. The state government offered a bare minimum exgratia of one lakh rupees. The family members of the victims demand to initiate severe action against the culprits and also have been demanding an exgratia of 25 lakh rupees and a government job to the family member of the victims towards the compensation.
