Girl run over by tanker, Palavalasa Meghana, Accident of Madhurawada High School. The accident occurred when the lorry driver was overtaking an RTC bus. The driver fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle.
Visakhapatnam: In a road mishap that occurred near the petrol bunk at Kommadi, on the city outskirts on Wednesday, a girl was run over and another kid suffered injuries when a speeding tanker hit the bicycles on which they were returning to their house.
The deceased was identified as Palavalasa Meghana, 13, of Patha Madhurawada area and Class VIII student of Madhurawada High School. The injured Preethi was rushed to the nearby Government Hospital.

On receipt of information, PM Palem Traffic Police team, led by SI Lakshmana Rao, rushed to the spot and took up relief measures. A case has been registered.
