Kakinada: On Wednesday night a gigantic fire accident took place at Dummulapet near Kakinada. In this incident, many huts pertaining to the local fishermen burnt within no time. However, no loss of lives has been reported. The local people immediately alerted the fire fighting team, who rushed the spot at once. Despite their best efforts, the fire could not be controlled for a longer time.
As many as 500 families lost their homes in this incident. The reason for this fire accident is yet to be known. Higher officials visited the site of accident and reviewed the situation. The police also rushed the spot and carrying out investigations.
