AP state assembly: Scene repeats, AP state assembly, Resolution for united Andhra Pradesh. Form Saturday onwards the state assembly will observe four days holidays and will resume again on January 17, 2014.
Even on the last day of this spell of assembly session, there was no change in the state assembly. The YSRCP has proposed for adjournment motion seeking voting for unanimous resolution for united Andhra Pradesh. Speaker rejected the proposal for the adjournment motion; and the leaders of YSRCP surrounded the speaker’s podium demanding adjournment. Even when the speaker told there proposals will be considered for a debate, they did not heed to his pleading. As the Speaker was left with no other option, the house was adjourned for half an hour, immediately after the commencing on Friday.
Form Saturday onwards the state assembly will observe four days holidays and will resume again on January 17, 2014. Many speculations are going around that the politicians with vested interest will not allow the house for its smooth functioning.
