Khammam: The 59th National Ball Badminton Tournament was inaugurated here on Saturday at the Pavillion Grounds.
Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Ball Badminton Federation of India President Ch. Rajasekhar, SP AV Ranganath, National Ball Badminton Association former President Amar Kumar, MLC Potla Nageshwar Rao were the chief guests. In all, 30 men's teams and 26 women's teams are taking part in the tournament. T Nageshwar RAo said sports play a vital role in promoting national unity and integrity. He advised the sports persons to show their talent with sportsman spirit.
