Hyderabad: The Union Minister of state for Transport, Sarve Satyanarayana on Thursday said the process of bifurcation of the state of Andhra Pradesh will be concluded by the end of February month.
Sarve said few Seemandhra leaders, with vested interests, have been propagating canards that the state bifurcation will not transpire. Further, he said the time allotted for the discussions on Telangana bill was more than sufficient. Sarve said extension of time is not required, as sufficient time has already been granted. He said he would urge the president, Pranab Mukherjee to not grant the extension of time for the T-debate.

Sarve said there will be no issue of voting on bifurcation. Even if all the MLAs oppose the T-bill, the bifurcation process will not stop, added Sarve. He said Parliament has not obliged to consider the opinions of the state assembly.
Further, he said there is an anecdote inside political circles that the first Chief Minister of Telangana state will be a Dalit. So, said Sarve, few people are deliberately tarnishing his image with the fear of him becoming the Chief Minister of Telangana. He wished to see Rahul Gandhi as the prime minister and himself as the minister in his cabinet.
