Eight-member killer gang arrested
Eight-member killer gang arrested, killer gang, killer gang Arrested in Kurnool. The DSP said that on interrogation, they confessed to the crime.
Kurnool: The Four-Town Police intercepted an eight-member killer gang who were on their way to murder one Chakali Mallikarjun and took them into custody here on Thursday. The police also seized knives and an Innova vehicle from them.
Later, the Deputy Superintendent of Police Y Ramana Kumar presented the eight accused before the media. Speaking to the media, the DSP said that one K Ramakrishna was murdered in January 2013. His father Lakshmana and brother Ravi Kumar suspected the hand of Mallikarjuna in the murder and hired killers to eliminate him on November 18.
However, the killers inflicted grievous injures on Mallikarujuna who survived the attack after getting medical help immediately. With this, the killers chalked out another strategy to murder Mallikarjuna and set out in a car. The DSP said that the police intercepted them at the patrol bunk in Gutti and took them into custody. The arrested include Kadimetla Ravi Kumar, Kadimetla Lakshmanna, PL Madhu, K Srinivasulu, Ramesh Naidu, Devadas and Mohan, he said.
The DSP said that on interrogation, they confessed to the crime.
