Hyderabad: Condemning the filing of police cases against pilgrims in Tirumala, BJP state president G Kishan Reddy on Thursday urged the Governor to order a probe into the irregularities in issuing a large number of VIP passes by TTD Board on Vaikunta Ekadasi day (January 11).

Addressing the media after releasing BJP 2014 diary at the party office here, Kishan demanded that the TTD administration withdraw all cases against the pilgrims immediately. Kishan Reddy sought to know how come a staggering number of 8,950 passes were issued to VIPs on the auspicious day. He stressed the need for overhauling the TTD board a large chunk of members coming from political background.
