Payyavula said when Andhra Pradesh was formed in 1956; Rayalaseema was assured of many promises like water, assets and development. He said in Rayalaseema districts, there is neither greenery nor people. Except for old people, and children everyone migrates to other places.
Keshav said the agitations that have taken place in Telangana were against their own landlords and not against the Andhra people. He said the bifurcation was meant for political benefits. Further, he said Andhra Maha Sabha agitation only was turned to be Telangana agitation. He said TRS never bothered to construct even a single memorial for the martyrs. From the other end, Telangana people view it as diffracting of facts.
