Hyderabad: Maoist top gun and Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) spokesperson Gumudavelli Venkatakrishna Prasad alias Gudsa Usendi denied allegations made by DKSZC secretary Ramana that he had been misbehaving with women folk.
Talking to media persons at Swamy Ramananda Tirtha Rural Institute at Pochampalle on Monday, he said the CPI (Maoist) leadership was trying to defame him by personal attack and character assassination. He said before making such allegations Ramana should have thought of how badly it would affect the dignity of a couple. He said they had stated publicly before the media on the day of their surrender that they would never do anything against the interest of the people.
“So, I request the people - our friends, relatives, media persons, well-wishers and residents of my native village Kadavendi in particular -- please do not be misled by attempts of slander and character assassination initiated by Ramanna.”
