Hyderabad: A mason was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl at a farm house on the city outskirts, Cyberabad Police said.
The accused Byagari Prabhakar, 41, a resident of Aziznagar village under Rangareddy district, with whom the victim was working, took the girl on his bike to Holiday Farm House located near Aziznagar on January 21 on the pretext of some work at the site and outraged her modesty. Based on a complaint police booked Prabhakar under the provisions of the Nirbhaya Act as well as Section 376 (Punishment for rape) of the IPC and other relevant sections.
