Digvijay Singh on Telangana Bill rejection in AP Assembly

Just a few minutes after the adjournment of the state assembly till an indefinite time, the congress party in charge for state affairs, Digvijay Singh addressed the media and said it was not the rejection of Telangana Bill that has taken place in the state assembly rather it was only the passing of resolution passed by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy. Diggy reiterated that the state assembly was asked to only debate and comment on the very issue. There was no resolution sought on Telangana bill, he added.

Diggy said it is up to the union government to take the final decision on the Telangana and said he couldn’t comment any on the very matter as an individual.
