The scientific secretary was speaking at the second edition of Infosec-2014, a national conference on information security organised by C-DAC, Hyderabad, in association with School of Information Technology at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) here on Friday.

After releasing the annual magazine on cyber security ‘InfoSec Depot’, Raghvan explained about the components of cyber security and stressed the need to make technologies affordable and suitable for the local environment. “Writing a thesis and sending it to the conference is not the end, you should be able to integrate the knowledge gained in four years of engineering, and come out with innovative ideas that would be helpful to the society,” prof. Raghavan exhorted the students.
