Hyderabad: Intensifying struggle against the State bifurcation, APNGOs Association on Friday announced week-long action plan including continuing staging dharnas in front of the residences of the Union and State Ministers from Seemandhra region.

Addressing the media here, the APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu called the closure of cinema theatres on February 11. All the national highways passing through the Seemandhra region would be blocked on February 12 and on February 17 and 18, ‘Chalo Delhi’ would be organised. Threatening to intensify the agitation further if the Telangana Bill is introduced in the Parliament, he said the Intermediate and 10th standard exams would be exempted from the dharnas and movements launched by the NGOs in Seemandhra. He said they would request the government to conduct the postponed TET exam as the aspirants were seeking to exempt the exam from the struggle.
