Mahanandi: As many as four huts caught fire and got burnt totally in a fire accident that took place at Allinagaram of Mahanandi mandal in Kurnool district late on Fridaynight. In this fire accident as many as four gas cylinders have broke opened. According to the sources, due to an electric short circuit in the residence of Fatimabi who has been working as Asha member the fire accident has taken place. In the same happening, homes of Kasimbi, B. Jayamma and Huseni also got destroyed. The total damage of assets amounts to Rs 4lk, according to the victims.
It is worth mentioning here that the fire accidents in the state are rather at an increase. In last two months alone, more than 10 fire accidents happened in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Lack of adequate safety measures turns to be the major cause for the increased fire accidents.
