Hyderabad: The national president of Loksatta Party, Jai Prakash Narayana expressed his dissent on the Telangana bill that has been approved by the union cabinet.
JP said it was good for nothing to introduce such a bill, which is full of flaws, in the parliament. He addressed the media on Saturday and said only two proposals have been considered as amendments to the prevailing bill, whereas they have proposed as many as seven amendments. He said inclusion of flood affected areas of Polavaram region in Seemandhra can not be considered as a big show.
JP said for their proposals on amendments, the union government has shown an empty hand. He demanded the union government to give clarity on the under construction projects in either region.
JP expressed his heartache over the union government’s action and said they have been restricting their deeds by measly promises. He reminded that the people of Bhadrachalam division want to be with Telangana.
