Lokesh to embark on Cycle Yatra from 16th To kick off yatra from Hindupur, Chandra Babu Naidu. The yatra will culminate at Tirupati where a mammoth public meeting would be organised.
Hyderabad: In an attempt to woo youth ahead of the general elections, TDP president N Chandra Babu Naidu’s son Lokesh is all set to launch a ‘Cycle Yatra’ from Hindupur in Anantapur district on February 16. Hindupur has a special importance for Naidu and his family since the party founder president NT Rama Rao had contested from this constituency thrice and won.
The constituency continues to be a stronghold of the party. Interestingly, Naidu had also launched his ‘Vastunna Meekosam Padayatra’ last year from the same place. According to party sources, Lokesh will cover all the three regions -- Telangana, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra.
The yatra will culminate at Tirupati where a mammoth public meeting would be organised. Lokesh is taking special instructions from experts on the brief speeches he should make during his interaction with people and to counter the YSRCP. He is also taking health tips from doctors and physiotherapists to maintain fitness during the yatra.
