Hyderabad: For the upcoming six months, the Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Anam Ramnarayana Reddy has introduced vote on account budget in the state assembly on Monday. The highlights of the ibid budget are appended below:
- 2014-15 annual budget amounts to Rs. 1,83,129cr
- Planned expenditure Rs.67,950cr
- Other expenditures Rs.1,15,179cr
- Estimated revenue funds Rs.474cr
- Fiscal deficit Rs.25,042cr
- 2013-14 residual revenue Rs.1,023cr
- As many as 20,346 new employments have taken place in FY 2013-14
- Government gave nod to fill up 98,562 vacancies through direct recruitment process
Tuesday has been granted a holiday for the ongoing assembly session for the perusal of the budget by the members. A debate will be held on the budget on Wednesdayand Thursday.
