TJAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram: Bifurcation InevitableHyderabad: Despite the high drama that was witnessed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, the Telangana JAC has decided not to resort to blame game or criticise anyone, but instead would coordinate with all political parties in New Delhi and ensure that the Bill was passed in Parliament.

TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram along with G Deviprasad, C Vittal and other members of JAC felt that the next five days were crucial and hence they should put in all-out efforts to meet key leaders of the Congress and BJP for smooth passage of the Bill in Parliament. Kodandaram and others are of the opinion that the UPA would facilitate constructive debate on T-Bill to enable parties to submit their amendments. If a few members continued to disrupt the House, then T-Bill would be passed with a voice vote, they said.

As part of their efforts to garner support, a TJAC delegation led by Kodandaram called on leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj at her residence on Saturday evening.

She assured them that there was no change in the party stand on Telangana. Speaking to newsmen later, Kodandaram said that bifurcation was inevitable. None of the theatrics would prevent the Bill from getting the nod of Parliament, he added.
