It was a sad Sunday for residents of Kadapa as they woke up to the news of bus accident. A private bus travelling from Prodduturu to Bangalore caught fire after hit a drainage tunnel. Soon as the bus hit the bridge, the diesel tank went up in flames.
Eventhough the fire servicemen rushed to the spot soon as they received the news, it was too late as the bus was completely destroyed by the blaze.
The only solace was that all passengers escaped unhurt. Police who rushed to the spot has registered a case and investigating.The bus belonged to Suvarnamukhi travels.
The incident took place near Medarapally.
