APNGOs bites Telangana bullet, Telangana Bill, State bifurcation process. The leadership, which is camping in New Delhi, condemned the way the Congress took forward the process unilaterally.

  • To join duties from today
  • Flay Cong MPs and Union Ministers for failing to stall T Bill

Hyderabad: With the Lok Sabha passing the Telangana Bill on Tuesday, the APNGOs, the front body against the State bifurcation process, gave up their fight and would be reporting for work from Wednesday.

In the latest spell of agitation since February 5, they undertook 15 days of demonstrations, including the last two days by organising a ‘Maha dharna’ at Ramleela grounds in New Delhi. They now believe that after the AP Reorganisation Bill is passed in the Lok Sabha, there was no question of it being stalled in the Rajya Sabha.

The leadership, which is camping in New Delhi, condemned the way the Congress took forward the process unilaterally.

Moreover, they blamed Seemandhra leaders, who were elected by the people to represent them at the highest levels of democracy, for failing to stall bifurcation. The Association leaders lamented that had the MPs and Union Ministers from the region resigned immediately after the Congress Working Committee decision, the Centre would not have divided the State. They vowed to teach a lesson to the Congress party in the next elections.
