Kiran Reddy's resignation: Reactions, Sridhar Babu, Kiran Kumar, CM Kiran's resignation. Sridhar Babu asked Kiran Kumar Reddy to fight at this juncture for the needs of Seemandhra people.
New Delhi/ Hyderabad: Congress Party MLA D Sridhar Babu has slammed Kiran Kumar for his comments made just before offering resignation. He fired on him for passing the comments that the Congress Party has divided the state just for seats and votes. If votes and seats have been the criteria, said Sridhar Babu, then more votes and seats are available in Seemandhra region. He harangued Kiran Kumar Reddy to stop giving flimsy statements. Further, he wondered how long they would deceive the Seemandhra people.
Sridhar Babu asked Kiran Kumar Reddy to fight at this juncture for the needs of Seemandhra people. He wondered how the same person could give two different versions according to the situation, without having his own stance. He said it was only due to Sonia, Telangana has become a reality.
From the other end, Dokka Manikya Varaprasad addressed the media and said there was no loss to the Congress Party with the quitting of Kiran Kumar Reddy. He said the party was never reliant on him. He sarcastically told that Kiran Kumar quitted the party just because he was not ready to face the elections in two months.
Dokka said Kiran Kumar Reddy’s life was like the Seetha Ramaraju character in the novel “Asamarduni Jeevan Yatra”. He said there were many leaders like Chiranjeevi in Congress Party who are very popular among the masses. Further, Dokka said that he would call on Sonia for the development of Seemandhra region. He said it will be of no use of Kiran Kumar Reddy floating a new party.
