Dokka to abide by Congress Party High Command’s decision. Dokka said if the Congress Party High command seeks his opinion, he would suggest making someone from SC/ST/ BC communities, the Chief Minister.

Hyderabad: Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad on Thursday addressed the media and said that he would abide by the Congress Party High Command’s decision. He addressed the media at state secretariat on Thursday.
When asked whether the high command would appoint a new Chief Minister or impose President’s rule, he said, he was not conscious of the issue. Further, he said he would support the Congress Party High Command for whatever decision it may take.
Dokka said if the Congress Party High command seeks his opinion, he would suggest making someone from SC/ST/ BC communities, the Chief Minister. Further, he said, if he was asked to suggest names for the Chief Minister, he would suggest JD Seelam, Panabaka Lakshmi, Kondru Murali from SC/ST categories. If it was from BCs, said Dokka, he would suggest Botsa and names of few other seniors. However, said Dokka, he would be happy to see anyone as the Chief Minister.
When posed a question whether he was not in the race of the Chief Minister, Dokka said he doesn’t have so much of strength and said he would look after the elections of his constituency.
