JC: Mad Sonia will throw stone to decide Seemandhra capital

Hyderabad: The former minister in the state cabinet and senior Congress Party MLA, JC Diwakar Reddy on Tuesday demanded Macherla in the Palanadu region of Guntur district should be declared as the state capital of residual Andhra Pradesh.

JC said Macherla will be the most suitable place to be the capital city of Seemandhra region. He said it was the foolish statement given by TG Venaktesh that he would fight for getting Kurnool as Seemandhra capital.

Further, JC said it was not fair for politicians to instigate the youths to make their own place as the capital. In his own mocking style, JC said the stone in mad Sonia’s hand will fell at some place to decide it as Seemandhra capital. He demanded the assembly elections to be held jointly with Loksabha elections as the tenure completes parallelly for both. He said that it was not possible to postpone elections for six months and said even the courts will also not agree for the same. He sermonised the MLAs and ministers to stop attempts to postpone the elections. He said in Seemandhra also there were natural resources to develop the region. He said he will not join in any Krishna’s cabinet.
