Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday vowed to continue his fight against bifurcation of the State and said that he would approach the Supreme Court soon.

Kiran, despite getting loud support from the youth leaders representing various joint action committees from Seemandhra region kept them guessing on his future plans. Addressing them at image gardens, Kiran said he would take a decision at appropriate time after consulting some more people.

Special buses were organised to ferry them to the venue.

However, the attendance of the students' was relatively poor. The students gave full-throttled slogans of ‘Jai Samaikyandhra’ and expected that Kiran would announce the launch of the new party. Their hopes were further raised when he asked them, "What shall I do now? Should I float a new political party? If so, for whose sake I should launch a party?” The students responded saying that he should launch the party for their sake. Kiran took potshots at YSRCP and TDP. He said, “one leader wants a political party for him to get rid of cases against him. Another leader wants a party for him to get power. Congress has divided the State at the behest of these two leaders - Jagan and KCR.”

He asked them, “Should I form a party for the sake of ministers from the region who are making a beeline to Congress high command and are trying to hoodwink people?"

He said, “I know my duty. I am ready to fight for the well-being of the Telugus if the youth stand by my side". When he got a thunderous response, he said he would take a decision at appropriate time. Replying to the offer made by AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday that the doors of the Congress party were still open to Kiran, he said he did not need Congress Party's B-form. "I don't need Congress B-form as you want to shackle me by doing so. Instead, I can sit at my home and do nothing," he added. Interestingly Kiran was all in praise for BJP senior leader Advani. He said the BJP patriarch pointed out that the T Bill was full of flaws. Kiran said that was the reason why the State Assembly had rejected it with a voice-vote. He said that without Seemandhra people, Hyderabad would wear a deserted look during the Sankranti time.
