KCR will now build T of landlords: Manda Krishna

Hyderabad: Alleging that KCR will focus his energies on building Telangana of landlords (Dorala Telangana), Mahajana Socialist Party (MSP) state president Manda Krishna Madiga lashed out at KCR and Kodandaram for not paying tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar during T celebrations.

After taking out a bicycle rally from Osmania University to Gun Park on Thursday, Manda Krishna announced that the party would be holding Rath Yatra on March 1 and Jala Deeksha on March 2 as part of the party’s election campaign.

Criticising the attitude of Telangana leaders, he said that the leaders, who reiterated equal justice in their speeches, failed to pay respects to Dr Ambedkar while celebrating the achievement of Telangana statehood. He questioned as to why the leaders like TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and TJAC chairman Kodandaram failed to visit the Ambedkar statue during the celebrations on Wednesday. He felt that these same leaders were responsible for handing over Polavaram irrigation project affected villages under Bhadrachalam division to Seemandhra. The adivasis, who were supposed be to part of Telangana, were now forced to be part of the residuary Andhra Pradesh.

The MSP president called upon the people to pay respects to Ambedkar in large numbers and cleanse his statues with milk as a mark of protest against the attitude of the leaders on Friday. The planned Rath Yatra would start from Gun Park towards statues of Ambedkar and Jyotiba Phule.
