Eluru: Kavuri Samba Siva Rao, the Union Minister and Congress Party MP of Eluru constituency on Saturday said that Polavaram will get the national project status in coming two days.
Kavuri was on a visit to his home constituency on Saturday. He spoke to the media in Eluru and opined that it would be better if the new capital of Seemandhra was built between Vijayawada and Guntur. Further, he said that he would strive hard to get a special package for Seemandhra. He said that he would contest only from Eluru Parliamentary constituency that too on Congress Party ticket in the looming general elections.
