Jupalli slams Congress Leaders
TRS MLA Jupalli Krishna Rao Slams Congress Leaders. Jupalli slammed the Congress Party leaders in a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. He wondered why has been Congress Party insisting for the merger of TRS party in it.
Jupalli Krishna Rao, a TRS Party MLA on Tuesday slammed the Congress Party leaders in a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad. He wondered why has been Congress Party insisting for the merger of TRS party in it.
He countered the comments made by the Congress Party leaders with a special focus on Sridhar Babu’s comments who early on Tuesday said that the entire credit of bringing statehood for Telangana goes to the Congress party.
It is worth mentioning here that Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, a senior Congress Party leader on Tuesday said that the TRS party supremo KCR should rethink on the issue of TRS party’s merger in Congress Party. He said it was not lucid to think that the entire Telangana related issues should make encircling around KCR and his family members. While addressing the media Ponguleti said that the people only will teach him a lesson, if KCR does not change his manner. Further, Ponguleti said KCR never bothered for the welfare of the tribal people in Polavaram flood areas.
The Telangana Congress leaders have been fuming over KCR for his decision to not merge TRS party in Congress. Palvai Govardhan Reddy said there was no need of TRS merger in Congress Party. He said KCR has an eye on the Chief Minister post; and for the same only he skipped merger. Congress party never said that they would give Telangana only if TRS gets merged in Congress Party, added Palvai.
From the other end, Shabbir Ali, a Congress Party Senior MLA criticised KCR, the TRS party supremo and said that the latter has never spoken truth in his entire life. He called on Jana Reddy on Tuesday. Later, he addressed the media and said that there was no part played by KCR in carving Telangana, a state.
He said MIM Party President, Asaduddin Owaisi has suggested few amendments to the prevailing bill inside the Lok Sabha; whereas, KCR has not even opened his mouth. He said with the only intention of bringing together all leaders who got involved in the Telangana agitation, merger was sought from the TRS party.
