Kapu Ramachandra Reddy, YSR Congress Party MLA on Monday sit-in for dharna at Rayadurgam Police station in protest against afflict done to the YSR Congress Party activists. In view of the alarming municipal elections, hundreds of YSRCP activists have been detained by the police excerpting that there have been pending cases against them.

In view of the alarming municipal elections, hundreds of YSRCP activists have been detained by the police excerpting that there have been pending cases against them.
While addressing the media Kapu Ramachandra Reddy said that the police have been torturing the activists with third degree punishments that too without having any legitimate reason. In protest against the misbehavior of the police, he consumed pesticide in front of the police station. Bundh call for Wednesday was given in Rayadurgam, objecting the police behavior.
