Rajnath to address Hyd meeting today, Telangana Avirbhava Sabha, Telangana formation meet. :Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh will launch the party’s election campaign in Telangana on Tuesday.

Hyderabad:Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh will launch the party’s election campaign in Telangana on Tuesday. According to party spokesperson, BJP is organising a rally named as ‘Telangana Avirbhava Sabha (Telangana formation meet)’ at Nizam College Grounds in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.
The party has so far not claimed the credit for the passage of the Telangana Bill. Along with Rajnath Singh, party senior leader and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and others will participate in the meeting, the spokesperson said.
Jaitley is scheduled to meet Telangana industry bodies and will interact with industrialists and entrepreneurs of the State at 3 pm at a city hotel in which FAPCCI and CII members will also participate. During the same time Rajnath will hold a meeting with state leaders and TJAC members. The BJP state leaders are mobilising a big crowd especially from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts for the meeting. The national leaders are scheduled to arrive by a special flight that would reach Begumpet Airport at 12.30 pm. From there, Rajnath and other leaders will go to late Bangaru Laxman’s residence in Jubilee Hills to console his family members. Meanwhile, police imposed traffic restrictions between 2 pm and 8 pm in view of the BJP meeting. Traffic towards Basheer Bagh from Nampally, Himayat Nagar and other areas will be diverted.
