TRS Snubs CPI Narayana. Narayana, the state convener of Communist Party of India, on Friday said that they didn’t receive any positive gesture from TRS Party, after they have submitted the list of the constituencies the party is willing to contest from in the looming general elections.
Hyderabad: Narayana, the state convener of Communist Party of India, on Friday said that they didn’t receive any positive gesture from TRS Party, after they have submitted the list of the constituencies the party is willing to contest from in the looming general elections.
Early on Friday he called on Telangana PCC Chief, Ponnala Lakshmaiah and informed the latter that CPI wants to contest in 22 assembly and 3 Lok Sabha constituencies. After submitting the list, he addressed the media and said that he has submitted the same list even to TRS Party.

Narayana wondered why TRS has not considering an alliance with the Congress Party, once they could welcome even people like Konda Surekha and her spouse in TRS. He said TRS party which has been stating that they have been holding discussions with CPI. Nevertheless, said Narayana that TRS has not consulted them in reality. Narayana said that Ponnala has informed him that he would appraise the matter of alliance with CPI to the Congress Party high command to finalize the issue.
