Hyderabad: Harish Rao, a senior leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi Party, on Thursday said that it was due to Chandrababu Naidu, the Telugu Desam Party President, the process of carving of Telangana was delayed.
He addressed the media early on Thursday and wondered how Chandrababu Naidu could say that he never opposed Telangana statehood. Further, Harish Rao said that Naidu has spent most of his time in opposing Telangana. He reminded of Naidu’s own statement that he only opposed the formation of Telangana during the NDA regime. He also said that Naidu has struggled his best to impose hurdles to Telangana Bill after it was tabled in the Parliament. He said Telangana people have been observing all these issues.
