He addressed the meeting attended by the activists of Telugu Desam Party in Vijayanagaram and said that he never wanted any position and said that It was only Chandrababu Naidu who could entwine the team to make it stronger. He iterated that Chandrababu was the Chief Ministerial candidate of TDP. He was poised over the matter of winning the scary elections from Hindupur assembly constituency with a huge majority. He held Hindupur as the bronze castle (Kanchu Kota) of Telugu Desam Party.

From the other end, Nandamuri Balakrishna who was campaigning for Telugu Desam Party in Srikakulam district has been booked in a case by the Election Commission for violating the Election Commission’s code of conduct on Tuesday. According to sources, Tanuja Rani, the returning officer, has served notice to Balakrishna for allegedly conducting a road show without obtaining prior permission from the officials concerned.
