Hyderabad: News making rounds that K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti president, has been confident of forming the first government in Telangana is apparently busy deciding on his Cabinet members. After the most taxing election campaign KCR is back at his farmhouse, tending a severe leg pain.
KCR had claimed just that the TRS would win by 2/3rd majority in the Assembly polls and would form the government on its own, has already promised Cabinet berths to several TRS candidates during campaigning. The following are the candidates to whom KCR has promised cabinet berths in a bid to encourage putting in extra efforts to win:
- K. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy (Banswada)
- Jagdeeshwar Reddy (Suryapet)
- T. Padma Rao (Secunderabad)
- T. Harishwar Reddy (Parigi)
- P. Mahender Reddy (Tandur)
- Srinivas Goud (Mahbubnagar)
- Swami Goud (MLC)
No need to mention about the confirmation of berths to Nayani Narasimha Reddy, KCR’S nephew T. Harish Rao, and son K.T. Rama Rao, to name a few.
According to top cadre of TRS Party, in case the party misses the magic figure of 60 seats, KCR has kept the doors open for an alliance with election rival Congress after he made the thrilling statement that he would back Rahul Gandhi as prime minister if the latter asked for his support, and of course the MIM, which is sure to get seven sitting seats, besides one or two more. The party is also sure of getting about 11 LS seats which will guarantee good strength in LS.
