New Delhi: On Monday, the Apex court has taken up the petitions filed against state bifurcation for the arguments. Following the arguments on the very matter, the Supreme Court has adjourned the case till August 20, this year. On August 20, it will be decided to which bench the case should be referred to. The Apex Court has denied for interim stay in this case.
It is worth recollecting that a total of 23 petitions have been filed challenging the state bifurcation in the past in the Supreme Court. The case was earlier adjourned till May 5 and the same has been taken up on Monday for further arguments.
