IRCTC offers summer rail tour packages
IRCTC Offers Summer Rail Tour Packages. Keeping the summer holiday tourists in view, the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), South Central Zone, Hyderabad is offering discounts up to 15 per cent on all its Rail Tour Packages (RTP).
Hyderabad: Keeping the summer holiday tourists in view, the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), South Central Zone, Hyderabad is offering discounts up to 15 per cent on all its Rail Tour Packages (RTP).
According to a press release, the offer is with immediate effect. The summary of RTPs and the discount rate being given (per person) is as follows:
Hyd-Tirupati: Rs 2,332, Hyd-Shirdi: Rs 2,028, Hyd-Rajahmundry-Papikondalu: Rs, 2,220, Hyd-Vizag-Araku Valley Rs 5,243, Hyd-Kerala: Rs 7,170, Hyd-North India: Rs 6,861, Vijayawada-Tirupati: Rs 1,962, Vijayawada-Shirdi: Rs 3,067, Vijayawada–Haridwar-Rishikesh: Rs 4,936, Tirupati–Rameswaram-Kanyakumari-Madurai: Rs 5,622.
Apart from these, the IRCTC, Hyderabad, is also offering various other tourism packages. Hyderabad City Tour Package with one night stay at Ramoji Film City is on offer for school and college students at Rs 2,180 per person and for others at Rs 2,300 and Rs 2,540 basing on the type of vehicle accommodation. A tour package of Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora is also available at a rate of Rs 2,540 per person. Similarly, a tour package is also available for government employees under Leave Travel Concession (LTC) to Jammu and Kashmir. There are two program options available in this package. One program is for a duration of seven nights/eight days at a rate of Rs 18,000 and Rs 21, 500. The other program is for five nights/six days at a rate of Rs 17,000 (under double occupancy for a group size of eight persons.
