Mahabubnagar: Oil tanker hits bike; one killed

Hyderabad: Early on Thursday, on the national highway near Rangareddyguda of Balanagar mandal in Mahabubnagar district, a youth was killed. An oil tanker battered the bike on which the deceased was riding, early on Thursday. In this incident, Kiran, the youth who originally hails from Hyderabad and who was on his way to Mahabubnagar, was killed on the spot, while Anil, the pillion rider sustained severe injuries. The bike was gutted in the fire as the petrol tank sparked during the accident. Even the oil tanker caught fire. Nevertheless, the fire rescue team reached the spot and put out the fire, timely. The police registered a case and have been investigating the matter.

In another similar accident that happened on Thursday morning in Karimnagar district, a VRO died on the spot. This incident took place at Tadikal of Shankarapatnam mandal in Karimnagar district. The two wheeler on which Narseeruddin, the deceased VRO, was travelling by was walloped by a Lorry. In this fatal accident, the said VRO died on the spot. It is learnt that Naseeruddin was on his way back to home, after finishing his election duty. The police have registered a case and investigating the matter. More details are awaited.
